Happy Easter

Happy Easter to everyone! This year has been full of blessings for our family, and I hope for yours as well.

Kendra has learned the joy of the Easter bunny. Yesterday we took her took her to the zoo for their annual Easter egg hunt. She had a wonderful time collecting the eggs with the other toddlers. The eggs were empty, and on the way out of the zoo every kid got to pick a few pieces of candy.

We met a few friends, rode the carousel and headed home. It was freezing cold, so staying much longer was just not possible.

This morning I hid some candy filled eggs in our driveway for Kendra to find. She LOVED it. I was actually surprised at just how much fun she had. She quickly discovered how to open them, and devoured the candy. I had to take most of it away or she would have eaten herself sick. As you can see, Turtle was ready and waiting to clean up any pieces she missed.

Dan is in NYC, and we missed him in this morning's festivities.
